Research

Research is one of the key areas of the Sententiae Community’s work. We support systematic philosophical research that combines close attention to the Ukrainian contexts with contemporary international academic standards. Research centers, long-term projects, and seminars enable researchers, particularly young or early-career scholars, to work together on shared problematic topics, develop their own ideas, and gain hands-on research experience.

The history of philosophy is represented by the Sententiae journal, the Student Society for Oral History of Philosophy, and the “Archivum Sententiarum” Research and Archival Center. Practical philosophy is developed by the Kyiv Center for Practical Ethics. Seminarium Sententiarum provides an open forum for presenting and discussing research in philosophy and related humanities disciplines.
